Extravagantly rich with great minerality, precision and freshness as well as a voluptuous texture (unusual for a baby Ausone), this is an extraordinary wine. Intense colour. Rich, expressive nose revealing a cocktail of ripe black berry fruits enriched with a beautiful mineral dimension. Dense, full palate, noticeable tannins, refined texture. Seems to boast all the prerequisite qualities yet still backward.

It may be 14.5 percent alcohol, but, with its huge freshness, the wine almost sings with elegance. The texture is opulent, with intense black fruits and a core of solid tannins. Impressive balance.
