Robert Parker Wine Advocate

Now owned by Hubert de Bouard, this beautifully situated estate looks set to produce profound St.-Emilions. The 2011 boasts an opaque purple color along with copious blueberry and blackberry fruit notes interwoven with crushed rock and spring flower characteristics. Already complex with good purity, medium body, and a finish dominated by acidity as well as a chalky character, it will benefit from several years in the cellar as it is one of the more closed and backward 2011s I tasted. It should drink well for 10-15 years thereafter.

Decanter Magazine

Very well expressed nose with floral and fragrant fruit, and a nice lift from the Cabernet Franc. Refreshing, almost crunchy, summer fruits, refreshing acidity and fine tannins. This is a very elegant wine that has finesse.

James Suckling

This is very minerally with a warm stone and berry character. Full body, with polished tannins and a long finish. Almost all Merlot.
