Plenty of nice, delicious fruit with cherry and currant character and some ripe raspberry. Some chocolate, too. Medium-bodied with round, creamy tannins and a flavorful finish. Drink now.

Licorice, espresso, cocoa and dark red fruit crop up with no effort. The wine is round, fruity, lush and packed with ripe, sweet berries and chocolate. You can enjoy this on release and over the next several years.

Dark inky almost opaque colour. Blackberry, plum, liquorice, mild oak and peppery notes. The palate is concentrated with a rather high yet balanced extraction, generous young fruit notes and a long powerful finish. An ambitious wine still needing some time to show its full potential.

Tasting note
From a vineyard dating back to 1464, this vintage is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. A licorice aroma and ripe red fruits lead to a solid wine layered with tannins and acidity in balance. Still young, the wine will be ready from 2026.
