The medium-bodied palate is delicately played and refreshing, featuring a light touch of chewy tannins and crunchy red and black fruit flavors, finishing earthy.

The nose is well-built and offers a fine power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, raspberry and small notes of pulpy cherry associated with touches of toasted bread as well as hints of nutmeg, almond, a very fine hint of toasted and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, a fine grain, minerality, a good definition as well as elegance, a fine mineral frame, juiciness and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, juicy blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of small pulpy/juicy fruits, cornflower, small blue berries as well as hints of vanilla, liquorice, a hint of toasted and toasted grilled. An imperceptible hint of tonka bean on the persistence.
