Wine Enthusiast
For anybody looking for classic Bordeaux, this is the bottle to seek. “Classic” here means a wine with a tannic structure that also relies on a black currant flavor, with acidity providing freshness but not losing any concentration or aging potential. Keep for many years.
VertdeVin
The nose is aromatic and offers a certain power, a fine intensity as well as a fine grain. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of wild cassis, violet and small notes of quite ripe blackberry associated with small touches of underwood, rose, small crunchy red berries as well as a subtle hint of rose, tobacco, a subtle hint of tea and pray. The palate is fruity, well-built and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition, gourmandize as well as a fine acidulous frame, a small fleshiness, a very fine richness, a saline side, a fine suavity, a beautiful fullness and a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, quite ripe strawberry and small notes of dry cassis associated with touches of rose, peony, underwood as well as fine hints of Badiane, camphor, a discreet hint of pray and chocolate. Very fine hints of hazelnut and salinity on the finish/persistence.

Deep garnet colored, the 2010 Gruaud Larose delivers notes of warm cassis, blackberry compote and boysenberries with nuances of new leather, unsmoked cigars and bay leaves plus a medicinal waft. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is filled with generous black fruit preserves, sparked by herbal and earthy hints and supported with a firm, grainy texture, finishing with gorgeous freshness.
Druvor
84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot & 4% Cabernet Franc.

Överdådig och kraftfull, med solid ryggrad av tanniner och syra. Fantastiska Pomeroler.
