VertdeVin
The nose is aromatic, fruity, complex and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, a small freshness as well as a multi-layer side. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, crushed raspberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of small quite ripe wild red fruits, cassis as well as hints of cornflower, cuben pepper, saffron, sweet spices, a discreet hint of camphor, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of underwood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, slightly tight and offers gourmandize, a good definition, tension as well as a controlled richness, a fine density, minerality and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fresh wild cassis and small notes of quire ripe small red fruits associated with a touch of plum, cherry seed, violet, a racy minerality as well as hints of nutmeg, sweet spices, a very discreet hint of tobacco and a subtle hint of truffle. Tannins are justly firm. Sapidity on the finish/persistence. Good length.
Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
Fresh, crisp, bright, and chewy, the red fruits offer purity, refinement, and lift, with energy, and length. Still youthful, its best days are in the future. So, hands off for a few years. Drink from 2025-2050.

Deep garnet in color, the 2010 Lagrange gives up notes of baked blackcurrants, stewed plums and fried herbs with nuances of crushed rocks and balsamic plus a touch of fungi. Full-bodied, the palate has a firm line of grainy tannins and fantastic freshness helping to define the black fruit and earthy flavors, finishing a little lifted.
