Här redovisar och presenterar vi kända vinskribenters utlåtande om specifika viner. Utöver dessa lägger vi in en egen kommentar när vi har provat samma vin.

Robert Parker Wine Advocate

One of the best Talbots over recent years, and possibly the best since the 1986 and 1982, this sexy juggernaut of a wine struts forth with an opaque plum/ruby/purple color and terrific notes of creme de cassis, licorice, roasted herbs and smoky barbecue. It is a brilliant effort, with full body, wonderful fruit, a savory, expansive mouthfeel, sensational texture and a long finish, but no hardness or astringency. This is a fabulous Talbot to drink over the next 20-25 years.

James Suckling

There's a real purity of fruit here with currant and blueberry aromas coming out in the glass. Full body, with fine tannins and a fresh and clean acidity. Very polished tannins. It's all about balance and drinkability here.

VertdeVin

The nose is elegant, finely tight, fine and offers power, freshness, a small concentration. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of quite ripe blackberry, ripe raspberry and small notes of small wild fruits associated with touches of small crushed berries, violet as well as a hint of plum, a racy minerality, iode, Sichuan pepper, discreet hints of mild tobacco, spices and ripe almond. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, racy and offers a fresh frame, a beautiful definition, a justly built concentration, a fine richness, suavity, gourmandize and a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed strawberry and small notes of quite ripe cassis associated with touches of violet, lily, chocolate as well as hints of crushed plum, tonka bean, cardamom, grey pepper, a very discreet hint of toasted, vanilla and tobacco. Good length. Tannins are precise, fine and offer a small straightness.

Wine Enthusiast

This wine shows black currant fruit, with just the right balancing acidity. Talbot is progressing well in its quest to bring out its fine terroir.

quatrième Cru Saint-Julien “As an ordinary winegrower, who is passionately attached to his vines, I will simply recount the efforts through which these renowned wines are made. They are fundamentally natural and their perfection and beneficial qualities are a source of justified pride for us all. It has been proven time and time again that to be and remain the owner of a renowned estate requires a true aristocracy that is in tune with that...
