The nose is aromatic and offers a fine freshness. It reveals notes of blackberry, bell-pepper and fine touches of cassis associated with hints of sweet spices, toasted as well as a very discreet hint of dark chocolate and fine touches of gray pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good structure, straightness, a fine tension, a good guideline as well as a fine fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry and more slightly red berries associated with fine touches of cassis bud/bulb as well as fine hints of mild tobacco and spices.

Aromas of wild red fruit, green leaves and herbs, as well as cedary oak. The palate has a supple, fresh feel with a wealth of plush, smoothly arranged tannins on offer. This is a bold Pomerol with plenty to offer now. Better in six-plus years.
