Tasting note
'The nose is fruity and harmonious. It reveals notes of cassis, red fruit and slight notes of blackberry associated with fine spicy notes and a touch of Zan. The palate is fruity, gourmand, mineral, racy, quite elegant, relatively fat and offers a good structure and a good matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of red fruit (strawberry, raspberry) associated with slight notes of violets, sweet spices as well as fine notes of oak. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence with fine notes of cocoa, blackberry cream as well as a slight hint of toasted oak / vanilla on the aftertaste.

grand cru classé Saint-Emilion Introduktion till slottet Château Quintus, är en vingård på 15 hektar belägen i Saint-Émilion, i AOC med samma namn. Tidigare benämnt Château Tertre Daugay, som tillhör Quintus SAS, ett dotterbolag till Domaine Clarence Dillon (som äger Haut-Brion). Klassificering grand cru classé Appellation Saint-Emilion I området kring den lilla medeltidsbyn Saint-Emilion finns 5500 hektar vinodlingar. Vingårdarna har olika jordmåner. En kalkstensplatå samt kalk- och sandlerjordar ger vinerna från området fyllig och kraftfull karaktär....
