VertdeVin
(52% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot) The nose is fruity, intense and concentrated. It reveals the cream of blackberry, cassis, violets, ripe fruit, spices and slight notes of flint associated with a few notes of mushroom / black truffle and toasted oak. The mouth is fat, balanced, fleshy, mineral, racy and offers a beautiful precision / purity. In the mouth it expresses notes of ripe plum, blackberry and slight of fresh strawberries combined with a few notes of cassis, and toasted oak.Tannins are fine, velvety and rounded. Good length.
Wine Enthusiast
This second wine of Château Palmer is dense and structured. With ripe swathes of black fruits and juicy Merlot showing strongly, it already displays the potential of the vintage. Generous and ripe, the wine has a fine level of perfumed tannin. Drink from 2023.
Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
Medium-bodied, elegant, refined and forward, there is fruit with an earthy charm, length and slightly sandy tannins in the finish. The wine was produced from a blend of 52% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Petit Verdot.

The Alter Ego de Palmer 2014 is a blend of 52% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Petit Verdot. It has an opulent, glossy bouquet with layers of small dark cherries and plenty of glycerin. The palate is more reserved than the bouquet suggests: saturated tannins, a little chewiness on the entry but suppler towards the finish. It feels very linear in keeping with the style of the vintage, the finish a little sweet than its peers with a dab of licorice on the aftertaste.

The 2014 Alter Ego De Palmer checks in as a blend of 52% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot. It offers classic notes of ripe black cherries, licorice, leafy herbs and chocolate in a medium-bodied, rounded, mouthfilling style. It has bright acidity and present tannins and will keep for 15+ years.
Druvor
53% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon & 6% Petit Verdot.
