Andreas Larsson - Tasted
Very fragrant, Margaux like with elegant dark fruit, cigar, tobacco, fine wood, a medium weight palate, rather slender but with ripe extract, savoury dark fruit and a long, pure finish.
Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
Bright, fresh, refined, medium-bodied and ready to go, there is a nice. sweet, lively core of red cherries and plums that are found on the nose and palate. You can drink this now quite easily for pleasure. The wine was made from blending 65% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc.

The 2016 Baron de Brane is a blend of 65% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc. It has a very pure and charming bouquet with brambly red fruit, cedar and pencil shavings, very assured for a Deuxième Vin. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannin on the entry, the fruit a little darker than the nose suggests, segueing into a well-defined second half with brown spices and hints of leather. This is an intriguing Baron de Brane.
Namnet på det andravinet hedrar baron Jacques-Maxime de Brane, som ägde godset på 1800-talet. Blandat från tankar & fat som är noggrant utvalda för sin smidighet, lagras det precis som det första vinet, men under en 12-månadersperiod.
