Blason d’Issan, andra vinet, introducerades från 1995 och framåt för att möjliggöra urval bland vinstockar som odlas i Margaux. Frukt från de yngsta vinstockarna används för att producera detta vin, som respekterar dess terroirs identitet, samtidigt som det erbjuder en välsmakande rund fruktighet, som kan avnjutas tidigare. Blason d’Issan lagras också på fat i 14 till 16 månader, varav en tredjedel är nya. Årlig produktion ligger på cirka 120 000 flaskor.

The nose is fresh, structured, racy and offers a fine intensity as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, cornflowerand small notes of pulpy strawberry associated with small touches of small blue fruits as well as hints of spices, a subtle hint of Sichuan pepper, a discreet hint of violet and liquorice. The palate is fresh, fruity and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful fresh/juicy fruit, a certain straightness/tension, suavity as well as a well-built fruit, fat and a chiseled side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, strawberry and small notes of cassis associated with touches of cornflower, plum as well as fine hints of tonka bean, toasted, varietal, a discreet hint of cardamom and an imperceptible hint of pepper. Tannins are finely soft. Good length. A powdered sensation in the finish/persistence.

Vinet som produceras här klassificerades som ett av fjorton Troisièmes Crus (tredje crus) i den historiska Bordeaux Wine Official Classification från 1855. Vingården ägs av Emmanuel Cruse, av Cruse-familjen. I februari 2013 köptes 50 % av egendomen av Jacky Lorenzetti, som även äger Château Pédesclaux i Pauillac & Chateau Lilian Ladouys i Saint-Estèphe.
