Här redovisar och presenterar vi kända vinskribenters utlåtande om specifika viner. Utöver dessa lägger vi in en egen kommentar när vi har provat samma vin.
Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
One of the more uncommon Classified Growths from Margaux, the wine is medium bodied and rather classic in nature. The fruit is bright and there is a dusty quality to the red berry finish.
Robert Parker Wine Advocate
Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Boyd-Cantenac gives pronounced cassis, stewed plums and cedar with earthy undertones and an herbal waft. It has a chewy frame, and the oak stands out on the palate, finishing with a good core of mid-palate flesh.
Druvor
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc & 7% Petit Verdot.
Tasting note
'Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, subtle lightening of the edges. Fine black berry fruit, nuances of cinnamon and precious wood, ripe heart cherries and notes of orange marmalade are highlighted. Complex, juicy and elegant, structured with finesse, well-integrated tannins, salty minerality on the finish, has great freshness, sure development potential, but can already be drunk. Just ten years ago that would have been the quality of the Grand Vin... (2025–2040)'
