Wine Enthusiast
Powerful, complex and ripe, this is a magnificent and concentrated wine. Juicy blackberry fruits, tight acidity and finely integrated tannins give a smooth, rich texture. This beautiful wine has long-term aging potential.
VertdeVin
The nose is fine, fruity, quite powerful and offers freshness and a slight austerity. The nose is slightly closed currently. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis jam and a hint of strawberry associated with discreet notes of raspberry, fine notes of candied fruit / black cherry, slight notes of toasted oak and a discreet note of menthol and a discreet hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity, gourmand, well-balanced, racy, tight, fine, gourmand and offers a beautiful freshness, a sensation of sweetness, roundness, tension as well as a beautiful and silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed strawberry, cherry and fine notes of blackberry associated with a hint plum, touches of minty licorice, oak as well as a discreet hint of cornflower and chocolate. Good length and beautiful persistence with freshness and fresh fruit. Beautiful freshness ! A beautiful wine and potential ! (2018/2040)

Deep garnet colored, the 2010 Canon features wonderfully expressive notes of dried mulberries, stewed plums and baked black cherries with hints of mocha, bay leaves and fallen leaves. Full-bodied, opulent and super spicy, it has a plush texture with a racy line supporting the hedonic fruit, finishing with jaw-dropping persistence.
James Suckling
Wonderful nose with strawberries, cherry blossom, and vanilla. The red opens up with blueberries, milk chocolate and sweet licorice. Full and juicy on palate with pure dark fruit and velvety tannins. So nicely layered texture and long in the finish with red fruit and crushed chalk. The texture is superb.
