Andreas Larsson - Tasted
Fine tuned nose offering ripe dark fruit, cassis, mocha, coffeee bean and modest oak. The palate has a fine density, yet very juicy, rounded and harmonious palate offering pleasure already with a fine wealth of fresh dark fruit, grainy tannin and a long dense finish.
VertdeVin
The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, richness/unctuosity as well as deepness. It reveals notes of ripe strawberry, crushed blackberry and more slightly ripe cassis associated with small touches of chocolate, caramelization as well as hints of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, beautifully juicy, beautifully elegant, racy, well-built and offers gourmandize, a beautiful tannic structure (beautiful finesse of the structure), richness, suavity, a beautiful freshness, a beautiful definition/finesse, tension, a bea utifu l acidulous frame, a racy minerality as well as a beautiful gui d eline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed strawberry, blackberry and more slightly cassis associated with small touches of fleshy raspberry, chocolate as well as fine hints of caramelization. Tannins are fine and eleg a nt. The finish is very finely tight. A beautiful gourmand wine , precise / framed and elegant.
Wine Enthusiast
This bottling shows the vastly improved quality of this estate that still represents good value for the appellation and for its provenance as part of the Lafite-Rothschild stable. The wine is structured while full of ripe berry fruits. It has weight and density, rich with swathes of delicious fruits as well as tannins. It will develop well; drink from 2023.
James Suckling
Lots of sweet berries and licorice on the nose. Full body, chewy and rich tannins with an asphalt and dark-berry character. A little loose in the mid-palate, but very pretty already. Excellent for the second wine of Duhart. Try after 2022.

Blended of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon and 33% Merlot, the 2016 Duhart-Milon has a deep garnet-purple color and features plums preserves, wild blueberries and cassis scents with touches of violets and underbrush with a waft of tobacco. Medium-bodied and elegant, with a backbone of finely grained tannins and oodles of freshness, it has a great core of perfumed black fruit, finishing on an earthy note.
