Andreas Larsson - Tasted

Inky dark purple core and hue. Discreet oak and toast paired with ripe blackberry, plum and cassis notes. Dense and concentrated palate with a well-maintained freshness, ripe but plentiful tannin with concentrated and ripe dark fruit notes, still youthful but finely balanced in a rich and opulent style with a long persistent finish.

VertdeVin

The nose offers a certain power, controlled richness, a fine intensity as well as a subtle captivating side. There are notes of crushed currants, pulpy cherry and more slightly blackberry associated with small touches of violet as well as hints of pulpy / crushed berries, zan, fine hints of spices and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is mineral, fruity, balanced, very discreetly tight and offers fat and a certain roundness, a certain straight, a small tangy frame as well as controlled richness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed raspberry, pulpy currants and more slightly fleshy blackcurrant associated with touches of lily, pulpy cherry, licorice as well as fine hints of toasted hazelnut and caramelization. Tannins are well developed. There is a subtle hint of coffee on the retro. Delicacy on the finish.

Robert Parker Wine Advocate

The third vintage produced by the new team that is trying to take this irregular estate adjacent to Cheval Blanc to new heights is the 2019 La Dominique. Offering up aromas of sweet berries, cherries, mocha and spices, it's medium to full-bodied, velvety and seamless, with juicy acids, supple tannins and an elegantly gourmand profile. This is a terrific effort that shows that this estate's fine performance in vintages such as 1998, 1990 and 1989 is not a thing of the past.

James Suckling

This is very perfumed, with dried flowers, chocolate and hints of nuts to the dark fruit, following through to a full body with layers of fruit and a ripe, rich finish. Plush and ripe, yet still formed and pointed. Needs time to open and come together. Try after 2024.

Druvor

Merlot (89 procent) med små mängder Cabernet Franc och Cabernet Sauvignon och tillsats av Malbec 2019.
