Jane Anson - Inside Bordeaux
The nose is elegant, racy and offers a fine sensation of silkiness as well as a finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, violet, small notes of small bright red fruits associated with fine touches of blueberry, fresh gravels as well as discreet hints of nutmeg, cuben pepper, iris, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of almond. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers an acidulous/juicy frame, a beautiful definition, elegant as well as tension (in finesse) and a very beautiful bright/juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/juicy Boysen berry, juicy/bright strawberry as well as fine hints of fresh gravels, nutmeg, toasted, chocolate as well as a discreet hint of toasted hazelnut and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. Good length. Tannins are fine and elegant. An imperceptible almost iodine hint in the finish/background.

Robert Parker Wine Advocate
Exhibiting aromas of plummy fruit mingled with licorice, raw cocoa and loamy soil, the 2019 La Tour de Mons is medium to full-bodied, with powdery tannins and a somewhat assertively structured, rather austere profile. Time may be kind to it, but for now it's a touch chewy.
