This is a dense, opulent wine—the epitome of the Pomerol appellation. It is generous and open, with great dark fruits and integrated tannins that will allow the wine to age. Drink from 2024.

The nose is fruity, gourmand, elegant, well-built and racy. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and more slightly fleshy raspberry associated with small/fine touches of cornflower, racy/clayey minerality as well as fine/discreet touches of sweet spices and a very discreet hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave and offers a good definition, a fine unctuosity as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of boysenberry and fleshy cassis associated with small notes of black cherry, crushed raspberry, toasted, chocolate/tonka bean as well as a subtle hint of vanilla, racy minerality, cornflower and fine hints of toasted on the finish. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
