Spicy and fresh, with lovely bright fruit qualities, the cedary notes pleasing too. Creamy red berries and cherries, the savoury charter is lovely, it retains some freshness, not hardness to the tannins, the elegant, floral and spice character is very promising.
Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
From 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine represents 50% of the crop. Black raspberry with hints of fennel on the nose, the wine is light in style and delicate in structure with a polite cherry finish. Drink this young, as it will be best in its first 5-7 years.
Robert Parker Wine Advocate
The 2013 Petit Village has an uncomplicated bouquet with blackberry, cedar and iodine scents, quite floral in style with a hint of wilted violet petals. The palate is medium-bodied with a saline entry, crisp and quite firm tannin, a little compact towards the finish, but nicely focused. This is a decent, short-term Pomerol from the AXA-Millésime group, though it has no ambitions towards longevity.
Druvor
60% merlot, 32% cabernet franc and 8% cabernet sauvignon.
