Tom Cannavan
Quite light and lemony, with a deal of vanilla and some delicate nutty aromatics. Palate has fine, fine sweet flavours. Real concentration here and a lovely bitter orange tang.
Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
Luscious, rich, textures, sweet, ripe over ripe tropical fruits with an orange rind, tangerine and yellow peach accent all coated with vanilla bean honey. Not the most powerful or concentrated vintage, yet the elegance works with the balance of sweetness and acidity.

The nose is elegant, rich, intense and offers certain freshness. It reveals notes of candied fruit, honey and white flowers. The palate is fleshy, rich, full, typical, opulent, round, very well balanced, deep, elegant and offers a small tension. In the mouth it expresses notes of candied peach, candied orange, exotic fruits and slight notes of honey associated with a few notes of acacia and gingerbread. Good length and persistence on the palate. A beautiful and opulent, well-balanced wine.

Tasted at the Sauternes 2006 ten-year on horizontal in Bordeaux. The 2006 Suduiraut has a dried pineapple, Aszu-scented bouquet that gains intensity with aeration, although it feels a little...unorthodox! It just comes across as more exotic and tropical than I was anticipating. The palate is medium-bodied with decent botrytised fruit, fresh and crisp with notes of bitter orange, honey and mandarin, quite saline on the edgy finish. Classy, very classy.
Druvor
100% Semillon.
