The 2023 Marjosse Blanc offers up aromas of white fruits, spring flowers and lemon oil intertwined with exotic notes, followed by a medium-bodied, juicy and balanced, incisive and round palate, concluding with a mouthwatering, saline finish. This well-crafted white from Bordeaux, a blend of 38% Sauvignon Blanc, 52% Sémillon, 5% Sauvignon Gris and 5% Muscadelle, punches above its weight, offering a level of quality and complexity that belies its price point.

Château Marjosse is the personal estate of Pierre Lurton, the Chairman of both Château Cheval Blanc and Château d'Yquem, and is located in the commune of Tizac-de-Curton. The vineyard stretches across picturesque clay soil with limestone subsoils in select areas. Pierre Lurton has, for several years, been dedicated to crafting unique cuvées that aim to reinvigorate the appeal of Bordeaux wines among connoisseurs. Unquestionably, this estate is acclaimed as one of the most outstanding for value in the Bordeaux region.
