VertdeVin
The nose is fruity, intense, concentrated and relatively generous. It reveals notes of plum, blackberry and slight notes of cassis associated with small notes of licorice, spices as well as slight notes of cardamom. The palate is fruity, gourmand, fresh, elegant, racy, harmonious, sleek, relatively powerful and offers a beautiful silky matter, a beautiful tension and precision (of the fruit), a beautiful fat, juiciness, a good structure as well as a nice minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blueberry and blackberry associated with slight notes of licorice, red fruit (discreet) as well as fine notes of sweet spices, tobacco, vanilla and a touch cardamom / cinnamon. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length. The finish is a bit suave.
Robert Parker Wine Advocate
The 2015 La Dame de Montrose is deep garnet-purple in color with a nose of crushed black currants, warm black plums and black truffles with hints of underbrush, dried herbs and tar. Medium-bodied, firm and with a good core of earth-laced black fruits, it finishes with good length.

A blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot, the 2015 La Dame de Montrose is a classic wine from this fabulous estate. Notes of graphite, damp earth, tobacco leaf, and that classic cassis fruit of Saint-Estèphe gives way to a medium to full-bodied, seamless, elegant 2015 that’s already drinking beautifully. Tasted twice.
Druvor
55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot & 4% Petit Verdot.
